Why can we mark up prices on dropped off supplies? Wouldn't that just sabotage our own team?
Based on last playtest. When driving/piloting you have the option of buying crates and filling them with whatever supplies. Then, you can drop them off somewhere and hope teammates open them up and 'buy' your supplies. Typically this is how FOBs are supplied, through bunch of people dropping off crates usually filled with building supplies and other resources.
This is really important as a team without a FOB can fall behind extremely quickly. However I noticed you can mark up the prices of your supply drops.
Wouldn't marking up prices just sabotage your own team though? I understand it's kind of cool, but in reality if you're doubling or tripling prices, you're making it more difficult for your own team to set up a FOB and continue the fight. Like why would I make it more expensive for everyone on my team to simply exist? Wouldn't it make it harder for my team, and thus myself, to succeed in winning if I make it so people need to pay more to build a base, or get badly needed bandages/defibs, badly needed ammo, etc.?
Not to mention 'builders' are generally a thankless job (extremely important and well needed, but often invisible to the standard player). Why would making everything they need more expensive, be helpful to one's team in any way?
