PSA: Having feedback, suggestions, or criticism for War Dogs isn’t an attack on War Dogs
No but seriously, feedback, suggestions, and criticism are not only welcomed by play testing, but they are necessary for the best game possible.
So why does everyone in this sub cry or look for every justification under the sun, moon, and stars when someone points out a glaring balancing issue or makes suggestions to tweak the systems in place for the sake of longevity, replayablity, and emergent gameplay?
“They’re designing the game they want to design and know it won’t be for everyone,” isn’t the cop-out of balancing, fine tuning, and revision many of you think it is.
Everyone needs to relax and understand that War Dogs is a game in active development and is subject to change at any time. And it’s ok. There’s going to be glaring flaws. And they’re going to be pointed out. And they’re going to be changed. As they should. It’s OK.
But the amount of glazing in here combined with stampeding anyone with a valid criticism of the game is getting old. We all want the same thing. The next shooter. THE shooter.
And War Dogs might just be that. So like yea, let the devs cook and all. Fs. But also, let’s make sure everyone is blatantly aware of what’s under or over-cooked.
If any of you think the devs were aiming to crease a game where 60% of people go marksman and camp bushes and roof tops, you’re coping. There’s no way any of us truly believe this game has zero flaws, is mechanically perfect, and should be shipped as a full release? Right…?
Sincerely, a guy who enjoys Tactical FPS games (Squad, Arma, Insurgency Sandstorm).
