Anyone with HOSAS flying experience?

I have dual VKB Gladiators (one omni throttle) that I use for star citizen. Does anyone have any experience and could give me pointers on how effective using 2 sticks is?

I have the ability to remove the fore/aft springs on my “collective” stick, and I could potentially use it as a throttle rather than have the centering point of the stick in the middle. But not sure if that’s possible?
