The game is far from current competition

I'm one of the lucky playtesters of this alpha, and I know a lot of you here will downvote me for my opinion, which is strange to me because on Steam a lot of people are posting the same negative reviews as mine, but this game just doesn't deserve the hype you're giving it.

​Ok hear me out, the game is not a disaster, it's an alpha and we cannot ask a lot from it yet, but there is a big "but".

​It seems strange to me that the graphics feel weird, like the effects for example. There's no suppression effect and the audio is completely missing. Today a tank was shooting and moving right next to me and I heard nothing, really terrible sound overall. Also, the weapons sound really weak and flat.

The water, the grass, and all the textures look like a game from 10 years ago. Out there the competition is huge, and honestly, besides the economy system and a few other things, the game didn't give me anything. I tried hard to like it because my expectations were huge. All those dev videos and rumors made me hope for something good, but it's completely far away from anything else out there at the moment.

​To finish: I love the proximity chat, but the game needs a full platoon chat where everyone on the team can talk like in Arma. That would add a lot more in terms of teamwork. Proximity voip is fun, but only when you're close together, and squad channels are fine but way too limited..
