PSA for early game/Iron Sights
I know this will be obvious to 99% of the people who read this/any longtime hardcore FPS types. However, if it helps even one single person, I'm happy.
So, PSA, FOV settings by default set your ADS FOV to "affected" by your FOV change. Meaning, if you increase your FOV from the default, then when you're aiming down sight, it is much less zoomed in than it otherwise would have been.
If you set it to Independent, it will use the lower default value when ADS regardless of what your FOV is while running around, and allow you to see better/further while ADS. In my opinion, in a game like this, especially early on when you have no sights to speak of, being able to see further, clearly and accurately, will help you stay alive and rack up a few kills so you can progress more quickly.
This only applies to optics below (going off of memory here) either 3.25x or 3.75x zoom, so iron sights, low zoom optics like red dots, you will be able to engage fights much easier at range.
Again I'm sure this will be extremely common and obvious to almost all of you, but, thought it would be worth it for the chance of reminding anyone.
