How will beta manage refunds?

How will refunds be handled?

The devs mentioned that if you don't enjoy the closed beta, you can simply refund the game.

Are any of the devs able to clarify whether playtime will be counted separately for the closed beta and the early access release?

If the playtime is combined, the Steam 2-hour refund window would effectively only give us 2 hours to trial the closed beta before we'd need to request a refund.

Just wondering how this is expected to work.
