Can the plane pilots chill a little bit?

Initially at the first beta I was like, "Damn, some people already got planes?" Then I realized it's just for coolness, background immersion, and whatnot.

But do those guys need to do a flyby every 5 minutes?

It's super loud and distracting. If at least they fired at something it would be one thing, but right now, I think they're more annoying than anything.
