Is spacebar locked to "Fire weapons" when in a heli for anyone else?

When setting up controls in the firing range I was planning on using space bar for "decrease cyclic X" (pitch nose up) but for some reason the spacebar fires the miniguns on the little bird. I've checked the bindings and bound fire weapons to 2 other keys to make sure space bar wasnt supposed to work and yet pressing space is still firing the guns while also pitching the nose. Seems like a bug
