My concerns about the long term future of War Dogs

I really like the progression system. It feels fun and gives players a reason to keep playing. But I have a few worries about the long term health of the game.

First, I am worried about the money system between matches. I think rich players will end up using expensive loadouts almost every life. Vehicles also feel very cheap. Even artillery and tanks, they do not cost that much and it does not take long to earn enough money for them and you can farm like crazy with them.

My fear is that after only a few days or a week after launch, many players will already have more money than they need. At that point, the econom could lose its purpose because people will just keep bringing expensive gear at all times. I think money should stay important for much longer.

My second concern is future content. I know the devs want to spend a long time improving the core game before adding a lot of new content. I understand why they want to do that, a strong foundation is important.

Still, players today finish games very fast. Right now the content feels okay for me, but I can also imagine people asking for more after just one or two months. I would love to see things like IFVs in the future, but I am worried they will come too late.

For example, in Arc Raiders, the devs spent a long time improvign the core game while new content came very slowly. Many players lost interest before there was enough new stuff to bring them back.

Hearing that Arc raiders planed major content updates only every six months killed my last Hope for this game. Even if those updates are big, six months feels like a very long time for modern multiplayer games.

Overall, I really like War Dogs and I think the core idea of the game is great. The progression is fun and I really enjoy what we have right now. My main worries are the economy becoming pointles too fast and new content coming too slowly. I really hope the devs can find a good balance between improving the core game and giving players new things to play with.
