Helicopter Pilot help/tips

So many of you are legitimately amazing pilots. I fly well in Battlefield, but that's brain dead. I found myself struggling in Wardogs. Obviously there's no video tutorials available, but for those of you that are actually amazing helicopter pilots. What advice, settings, tricks, tips, etc do you have for aspiring pilots?
