URGENT: NVIDIA Filter Exploit Could Give Players an Unfair Advantage in WARDOGS

Hello Bulkhead team,

I would like to report a potential issue that could be exploited to gain an unfair advantage in WARDOGS.

There is a common workaround used in games such as Hell Let Loose, which is a Team17 title and therefore relevant given the partnership between Team17 and Bulkhead.

The issue involves NVIDIA App/Game Filters. If a player changes the executable filename of the game — for example, renaming "hell.exe" to "hll1.exe" or another name — the NVIDIA App may no longer recognize it as the game. This can allow filters that would normally be restricted to be enabled.

Depending on the filters used, this can provide significant gameplay advantages, such as improving visibility through smoke, increasing visibility in dark areas, and applying other visual adjustments that can reveal information that players are not normally intended to see.

I believe this is worth investigating before it becomes a widespread issue in WARDOGS, especially considering the competitive nature of the game.

I am sharing this simply as a security/anti-cheat concern so the team can assess whether similar NVIDIA filter exploits are possible in WARDOGS and, if necessary, implement a way to prevent them.

Thank you for your attention, and congratulations on the launch of WARDOGS. I am enjoying the game and would like to see it maintain a fair competitive environment.
