You should be allowed to refund things at base

Given the game relies a lot on rock, paper, scissors balance I really don’t understand why you aren’t able to refund things in base. One particular example is if I am in the field and the other team starts using a lot of artillery tanks. If I have an expensive kit there is no way I am going back to base to get a rocket helicopter, but that is exactly what my team needs to counter the artillery.

It’s not like it isn’t a pain to get back to base usually, as it typically requires riding back with a supply truck. But for certain situations it certainly would make sense.

Now I do get that probably what the developers fear is that at the end of the game everyone just stops fighting and goes back to base to refund their stuff. So instead of a true refund, perhaps you should just get “store credit”, which is not going to be refunded at the end of the game but goes towards buying other gear/vehicles. It is not persistent and is specific to the game that you are currently in.

EDIT: I’ve seen people ask this question more than once. I do not think this should apply to anything other than your kit. I do not think you should be allowed to take kits from other people and refund them.
