How does seasons work?

I was looking into this game and I heard something about seasonal resets. I looked around to find more information about it but it wasnt very clear.

Does someone know how the season reset works?

Does it only reset money or does it also reset levels/unlocks?

How long does a season last once the game releases?

If it resets everything how do you feel about the current progression and how long do you think it would take to get some decent unlocks again?
