Controller support soon maybe?

I’ve been excited for this game since last year. I see it’s going into EA next month. Of course, i recently messed up my left rotator cuff and I’m getting an mri next month. It’s hard for me to play with a keyboard right now. Any work arounds? Or should I just wait until 1.0 release? Maybe I’ll be healthy by then too so 🤷‍♂️.
