As a driver, the game is unplayable

I wanted to love this game. I really did. I saw the armored vehicles and thought, "I want this". So I became a truck driver, day in, day out.

BUT.

Why does my truck have infinite gears ?????

I will be holding the W key down, and my truck will shift up, and up, and up. and up...

Is this a special Ural with 9999 gears?

Then I realized - all ground vehicles do this. They keep sounding like they shift up, no matter how many times they've already shifted up, or whether they've reached top speed...

Alas, the game is now literally unplayable. 0/10, will refund (as soon as my truck stops doing 180s when I try to turn at 10 kph).
