STOP Healing Yourself: Why cross-healing in the Hot Zone is worth $25,000+ to your squad.
TLDR: Healing yourself is leaving money on the table. Always cross heal with a teammate when possible.
Others have brought it up on the sub but I wanted a pure dedicated post for this one topic.
After a firefight and with everyone revived. STOP. Do not start bandaging or first aid kitting yourself.
Communicate, look around, for others that need to be healed.
Lets walk through an example real quick that happens to be nearly every game.
In the hotzone with my squad. We have a rough fight but win out.
I walk around with my first aid kit healing, my friend does the same. Importantly we will heal each other instead of ourselves.
First Aid kits cost $800, and stack in two's taking one slot. Grabbing 4 is reasonable for a total cost of $3,200 and two inventory slots.
If me and my friend heal each other in the hot zone we will make. $3,200 PER HEAL with first aid kits. If I use all 4 kits on him that is a total income of $12,800, netting 9,600 in profit off of just heals.
If he does the same he also gets that profit. For a total shared profit of $19,200.
Contrast, if we just healed ourselves we end in the same place health wise but instead we are both -$3,200 in profit from the cost of our first aid kits.
That is a swing per player of $12,800 or $25,600 in total by making one simple change.
I think this may be one reason why, lets face it, bad infantry players are having such a hard time making money.
