I truly believe it is not about the mode, it’s about letting players run wild… the more you constrain players the less fun it is, FPS games are social experiences and Wardogs is closer to Mecca Chameleon than COD.
WARDOGS sold 2 million copies in five days by giving FPS players 100-player warfare instead of another battle royale or extraction shooter.
The FPS genre was never dying. Players were just waiting for something different.
