Potential fix for anyone trying to open the game through Steam and their entire PC keeps crashing

Hi all! Posting on behalf of my husband (albeit figuring this out was a team effort lol) - for anyone trying to open the game through Steam/on PC and it causes your PC to crash entirely, you need to disable Window’s Hyper-V. To do that:

• Hit Ctrl + F and it should open a search both in a new window

• Type “optionalfeatures” all one word and hit enter

• Scroll down to the Hyper-V check box and UNCHECK it. It should then prompt you to restart your PC.

This worked for him, at least! Hopefully it’s helpful to someone else, too ☺️
