We are going to see the Ural Truck become the main logistic hauler.

I want to preface this by saying that I’ve seen a lot of criticism regarding the logistic system regarding FOBs and Drillsites.

I see that people complain that helicopters drop a shit ton of supplies on them and that it makes that aspect of the game trivial.

I am certain that this is because we are in the early game and as we reach the end of this beta the landscape will already have changed.

During the alpha helicopters were free to fly for 2 days, by the last day every FOB had a manpads and a lot of players had unlocked stingers. This resulted in a complete locked airspace.

This is when the Ural truck comes in, it’s easier to sneak into the zone and also as a result it will slow down the logistics chain.

I think this is something we just will have to wait and see how it turns out. And I’m sure the devs will monitor this kind of thing since logistics is a core gameplay loop.
