Tracers, Are they a Thing in the game

Quick question

For those who played the game, are tracers on heavy machine guns a thing. I was watching someone play in tank, When they where shooting the coax on the tank, I did not see any tracers. Also same goes for the helos gunner as well. Could be just me not see it.
