Community Feedback, Ideas & Discussion Thread
Hey guys!
What about making one big community post for our honest feedback on the beta, so we can share ideas, discuss what works, what doesn't, and hopefully help make the game even better than it already is ?
Here are a few things I've noticed, ideas I've had so far :
• Quad handling off-road The quad can be pretty difficult to drive once you're off the roads. Maybe the handling could be adjusted a little? • A LOT of sniper encounters / Artillery (and mortar) domination / Heli etc... I'm seeing a lot of SVDs and snipers at the moment on towers etc.. artillery far behind the lines, heli domination sometimes. Not sure what the perfect way to balance this would be, but maybe we could introduce systems that naturally encourage people to hunt dangerous players, counter artillery/ mortar/ campers that are far away and need to be counters ? → Player bounties For example: if you get killed, you could spend a minimum amount, maybe $1,000 (or more for vehicles) to place a bounty on the player who killed you. If another player kills them within X minutes, they get the bounty. If the wanted player survives for the full duration, they get the bounty themselves . Could create some pretty fun situations and give players another reason to move around the map.
• The map is huge, but some areas feel underused Maybe more spawn rotations, different circle positions, objectives or events could help make more parts of the map relevant from game to game. • Proximity chat Sometimes I completely lose proximity chat during a game. • Bounties / contracts for actions It could also be interesting to let players create contracts for certain actions: FOB / ammo drops, helicopter pickups, supplies, transport, etc. Basically, players could put money on a task and other players could choose to complete it or not. Those are just a few ideas to start the discussion.
What do you guys think?
What did you like about the beta or not?
What would you change, balance, remove or add?
Drop all your ideas below. Let's discuss them!
LET'SSSSS GOOOO!
09/06/26 10.44 UTC Community suggestions so far:
• Saved loadout slots
Allow players to save several predefined kits depending on their role or budget, for example a cheap kit, driver kit, sniper kit or expensive kit.
• Medical vehicles
Add vehicles focused on medical support, potentially allowing several players to be revived or treated more efficiently.
• Logistics based respawns
Forward spawn points could depend on supplies. As long as enough supplies are available, players can continue spawning there.
This could make logistics, supply routes and protecting support players much more important.
• Better communication tools
Add more tools for team coordination, such as drawing directly on the map, improved markers, pings or temporary squad orders.
• Aircraft
Someone would like to see planes similar to what exists in Arma 3 KOTH.
If aircraft are introduced, ground forces would obviously need proper ways to counter them.
• Progression and unlock balance
Some important counter measures could be moved into the main progression path.
One example mentioned was the RPG.
A tank can currently become extremely powerful if most players on the server have not yet unlocked anything capable of dealing with it.
• Better tutorial
Add a tutorial explaining important game mode mechanics such as drills, spawn trucks, logistics and other systems that new players may not immediately understand (tower hack for myself ahah).
• Keybind improvements
Allow multiple keys to be assigned to the same action.
Separate infantry controls, ground vehicle controls and helicopter controls.
There also seem to be some bugs after changing certain bindings, especially involving scopes and scout equipment.
• Drill balance
Increase the cooldown between drill activations.
A coordinated team should absolutely be rewarded, but being able to manipulate the Hot Zone again only a few minutes later can feel too powerful.
Other possible balancing options could include higher resource costs or more preparation before activation.
• Drill visual rework
Someone feel the drills look too artificial compared with the realistic environments. They could keep the same gameplay function while looking more like believable military or industrial structures integrated into the world.
Keep the ideas coming guys. I will try to update the post with the most discussed suggestions so we can have everything in one place.
