BOB's and LOGI unite! Let's discuss FOB's and their needs
The goal here isn't base design or how-to be more effective flying/driving/building , it's to help get a better understanding, at a glance, what a FOB might need. If a LOGI jumps into a match mid-way, or a BOB went radio silent on requests, this might help answer exactly how much of each resource each FOB type might need.
This would also help the 'less talkative' side of the community, or just the less informed make quicker/easier calls instead of sitting around waiting for a response, or dropping off another round of supplies when the base already has 10,000.
BOB - Battlefield Outpost Builders / These folk build those funny friendly zones, and try to maintain them! LOGI - Logistics Operator & Goods Integrator / If it be air or ground, these are the ones that keep the FOBs operational by dropping supplies off.
I've also ranked the resources from most needed to least-needed (top to bottom). LOGI, remember that Requests override these orders . If a BOB asks for Mechanical Parts despite being at 1,000 supplies, give that BOB Mechanicals!
Round Start -
This is the biggest rush/push for BOBs. Supplies are King. Ammo is a close second. LOGI's might even be hauling the FOB-BOB themselves their first flight! Any extra room you can shove building materials in can be helpful as well. Keep an eye and ear out for requests, this is probably the most hectic part of the game.
After the initial rush has calmed, lets touch on the FOBs that'll spring up:
Mega FOB - These are currently, generally, the closest Tower to your spawns. Virtually every game will have one. But, it might be located elsewhere instead of a Tower . Usually the first FOB down when the game begins, and where a lot of folk might setup camp before heading directly to the hot-zone. The main goal of this FOB is getting Oil Drills up and operational. You will see practically every building here more than likely.
Needs:
Supplies (4-6k surplus) - Gives ample room to rebuild + make drills(1,600 supplies to build 1 drill) Ammo (2-4k Surplus) - Allows adequate time to get another pallet/Boxes if they're constantly used Fuel (6,000 Per Oil Drill) - There's a long cooldown per, but BOBs can chain multiple back-to-back. Mechanical Parts (On request) - Drones and vehicle repairs use these.
Suppressive FOB -These FOBs are usually are small, compact, and have: Mortar, SAM, and/or CIWS. Not generally in a hot-spot, but near one to allow constant barrages. Usually 1-3 man FOBs, they require the least upkeep but sometimes a constant one if they're effective. I have seen these inside the circle, and even outside facing an enemy Headquarters/Spawn Zone. So, keep an eye out.
Needs: Ammo (1-4k depending on player count, and location) Supplies (1-2k, usually not supply hungry, only for rebuild/expansion)
Tower FOB (Deep) - These ones are generally the more inner tower FOBs, and might be secured from another team. They're going to be hot-drop areas, and you need to be aware of your surroundings. If there's a BOB here, they likely need Supplies, and potentially Ammo . These FOBs usually are under fire, trying to get whatever they can up to keep everyone else out.
Needs:
Supplies (1-2k surplus) Ammo (On request)
Feel free to post any other FOB types, and help make this a cleaner version of what might be needed.

u/PeaPuzzled7181 - In terms of knowing exactly what a FOB has or needs, you can mouse over the fob icon on the map and it tells you how many of each resource it has.
