To those of you complaining about heli controls...
TLDR: Bulkhead, PLEASE don't change the flight model because people don't understand how helicopters actually fly and feel. How it is right now is *chefs kiss* beautiful!
We get it, you came from arma where the little birds are smoking meth and crack at the same time. They have no weight and are not representative of real helicopter flying at all. Stop trying to make these helis the same as that.
If you've flown a real helicopter then you'd know just how good these helicopters feel. No it's not a flight sim, it's still massively easier than real ones but it definitely feels less arcady than battlefield or arma.
I keep hearing the same thing- "input lag"
Yo, there's no input lag, it's just how helicopters ACTUALLY feel. Shoot, look up gyroscopic precession. I guess in a round about way there is input lag because in real life there's input lag. Also, you're flying the rotor disc, not the fuselage. You have to be "ahead of the aircraft" to be good. Meaning it takes skill!
But really, stop complaining about the flight model because it's not what you're used to. This is the most fun, semi true feeling, heli flying I've found and that's hard to do, helicopters are such wild machines. But they've nailed it here. The feel, the weight, the "input lag" is all by design and it's fantastic. It really rewards skilled pilots and I think that's genuinely a good thing.
If you want to fly a little bird around like it's a jet, then go play battlefield or something.
