Nooby Slack or Brain Dead Players?

As someone who played both the Alpha and now the Beta, the difference between the competence of the players is staggering.

Of course with this huge influx of players, and it being day 1, there will be a lot of people learning, sure. But the absolute refusal to PTFO or help build, so you can win is crazy. I played for about 9 hours today with a small group. If I didnt place the FOB and invest into it, there was a small chance that anyone would. My last game of the night, I didn’t feel like it, and wanted to go run around and do hot boy shit just like everyone else. So I did. Nobody created the FOB until red team was up 70 points.

Once I place a FOB and start placing infrastructure within the square, nobody has hammers equipped. Instead of hammers, everyone wants to go and snipe. You’re standing in my way, as I try to build defenses for this base, kind sir. Please get the fuck out of my way.

And once the big beautiful base is built, what do they do?! THEY LEAVE THE FUCKING DOORS OPEN. CLOSE THE FUCKING DOORS BEHIND YOU. Use the actual door too, stop using the gates. Letting all the cold air in, damn. Also, if you guys are confused on what to do, please bring fuel and building supplies to the FOB. Drill + fuel = circle .

Not having VOIP all day really negatively impacted my experience with the game as well. Instead of it being a 10, it felt like a 6-7 today. The burnout hit tonight. Hoping the VOIP servers are working tomorrow. Without it, it’s like herding cats as a blind person, and it’s a little more dull. The wildness is fun to experience with voip.
