Wardogs future

So i played the beta, I understand that this is kinda of a mil slim game, but is it supposed to be like a whole giant map to just have action in one small circle in the middle?

I compared this game to arma and squad, and even these games you walk very much and ride vehicles, but still you get action in many places of the map, but in wardogs, it's just all this walk or rides, for 5min or so, just to get action in a really small place in the map and poof, die and repeat again.

I liked the gameplay etc, but it's this whole giant map they designed, just to use a really small portion of it? Is there any news regarding this, like they will use the rest of the map? Or is it just like this because it's the beta? Or the game will really be like this?
